Gutters and soffit

Where the roof lets go of the water

Gutters, downspouts, soffit and fascia are the roof's edge. We replace them as a set so the water and the air both have somewhere to go.

  • Seamless runs cut to your eave on site

  • Brackets set into solid fascia, not just nailed to the edge

  • Downspouts that end well away from the foundation

  • Vented soffit where the attic needs intake

The job

Four things we check at the edge

  1. 01

    Fascia

Pressed along its length. Soft boards are replaced before anything is hung on them.

  2. 02

    Pitch

A small slope toward each downspout, checked with a level.

  3. 03

    Outlets

One downspout for each stretch of eave that needs one, not one for the whole house.

  4. 04

    Soffit

Painted-over or blocked vents are reopened, or replaced with vented panels.

We will tell you what is wrong with the edge before we talk about gutters.
